Requirements

We have a strong presence in the Defence Maritime sector and have played key roles in the progress of significant and cutting-edge programs such as SEA1000 Attack Class Future Submarine, SEA5000 Hunter Class Frigate, SEA3036 Pacific Patrol Boat Replacement, SEA2048 LHD, SEA4000 Hobart Class Destroyer, Collins Class Submarine, Cape Class Patrol Boat, SEA1180 Arafura Class Offshore Patrol Vessel, Supply Class Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOC), etc.

We are anticipating further significant and sustainable growth in the sector and are looking to create a maritime talent pool from which we seek to hire multiple permanent positions and project-based positions at various levels. We are also interested to hear from independent contractors.

Experience:

  • Defence Seaworthiness Management
    • Hazard Analyses
    • Safety & Risk Management
    • Governance, Assurance & Regulatory Compliance
  • Defence Systems Engineering, preferably in the Maritime Domain, covering
    • Requirements Management
    • Systems Integration
  • Support System Solution and Requirements development
  • Naval Weapon and Combat Systems
  • Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree.
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional with the International Council of Systems Engineering (Desired).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent (Desired).
  • Australian Citizenship and/or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance (Essential)
  • Negative Vetting Level 1 or higher (Desirable)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree.
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional with the International Council of Systems Engineering (Desired).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent (Desired).

Suitability Criteria:

  • Australian Citizenship and/or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance (Essential)
  • Negative Vetting Level 1 or higher (Desirable)
